Hello My Friends.

Where has the time gone? It seems like I think about so much and mean to come here to post it and then get sidetracked.

I get such nice emails from folks asking me how I'm doing and if things have improved. Well, things are still tight like they are every where, but I've got my head above water...and that beats the drowning feeling I had in Dec. That month was supposed to be the month of happiness and hope. All I know is that I held on to my faith stronger than I ever have. I thank God every day that I still have a home for Minnie & me. God watched me right to the edge of full despair and then He pulled me back.

I hope this post finds you all doing well. I promise I'll do better with my posts.

Hello Everyone,

I know it's been a while since I've updated my blog. I had someone email me today and wanted to know where I've been!

It's about 1 AM here in Virginia and Minnie is under her "blankie". She's not a morning "person" or a very late night "person". When she's ready to go to bed, she is gone! I try not to wake her as I work throughout the night.

Well, again, I was blessed by being able to pay my rent and I have paid one of my late car payments. So, things are less stressful on me. I keep working online with my 3 ad exchanges which keeps a little money coming in when I sell advertising.

Of course, being a news junkie, I have been caught up in the political news. Watching the country being so hopeful with the new president was heartwarming to see. We need to pray for his success and for the economy to rebound.

Well, back to placing some ads. I hope all of you are doing well and I promise I'll do better with my updates. It's good therapy for me to write.

Sorry, it's been a couple days since I've posted. I have to admit, I've been extremely stressed over getting my rent paid. Well, with just a few hours to spare, I was able to pay it.

For all of you that helped us with your prayers or financial help...all I can say is thank you.

Sun Night

I hope you all had a relaxing weekend. The weather here has been nice.

I spent most of my time still sending out emails to hundreds of ad exchanges. I've put a low cost special on all 3 of my exchanges encouraging people to buy some advertising packages from me. It makes me feel good to try to help folks promote their online business opportunities.

To be honest with you, I'm fighting to keep my chin up as Thursday (15th) approaches. I'm still about $200 short to be able to pay my rent. That's the last day I have before they start court proceedings. The ladies in the office are being so kind to Minnie & me, but it's the management company of the apartment complex that has their rules.

You know, there are so many people hurting right now. It just isn't fair there is so much suffering in our country. I've heard some stories from some of you that make me not only feel less alone, but also I know that my situation is not unique. I hope & pray that those of you who are suffering will find some peace, too.

I hope you enjoyed seeing a picture of Minnie. Some of you wrote and wanted to know if that was actually her. Yep, that's one of the first pictures I took of her after I took her shopping. She was so skinny and scared when I got her. It took her such a long time to trust me and now she never leaves my side. She's almost 3 and I've had her over 2 years. It's funny how trust works, isn't it? She is so much company to me.

Some of you have written to me and asked how the totals are going. Well, I feel like you all have a right to know since you've been the ones helping me. I needed about $1,200 to pay my rent and a car payment. I've been blessed with about half of that. My biggest concern, of course, is my rent. You can deal with most anything as long as you have a peaceful place to be.

I have until the 15th for my rent and the 22nd for my car. So, I have time and I'm hopeful. How the insurance company felt justified in just stopping my income, while I have to appeal it, is hard for me to comprehend.

It's about 3:30 here now. I went to sleep earlier this evening and now I'm up. It won't be long before I'll need some coffee.

Wed Afternoon in Virginia

It's very rainy here today. Doesn't do much for the mood, that's for sure.

I stayed up late again last night sending out emails. I am so blessed by all of the help. I don't have enough to pay my rent and a car payment yet, but I'm grateful and hopeful. My landlord and bank are working with me as much as they can.

So many of you are in similar situations. I've read your stories and I know I'm not alone. This world is in a bad place right now. So many folks are much worse off than probably all of us. I pray for them every day. I know God will take care of us.

One quick story...my brother was a mortgage broker here in Virginia and had built up quite a business and had a beautiful home. Well, as the economy went, so did his business and home. He recently moved to Florida to get a fresh start. He's working with homeless people and buying/selling furniture. He's written me stories about folks under bridges sleeping, no home or food. Every morning, he gets up and makes 100 sandwiches & bags them up with cookies to take to the "Bridge People". I cry every time I hear a story from him, but I'm so proud of what he's doing. He says God provides for him so that he can help them.

So, one day, I'd like to move there to help him or do something like that right here. If my health holds out and I can get my life turned around, I'd like to "Pay It Forward". We hear that term a lot, but I want to do that more than you know.

Tues AM - Good Morning

It's very early here in Virginia. Around 3 AM. I sleep off and on. I tend to worry about things whether I can control them or not. I just finished reading a post from Denise and Johan.

Denise offered to help by purchasing Special Offers on my ad exchanges and offered to get the word out to her membership. She was so upbeat in her post. I appreciate her efforts so much as I do everyone's. It makes me feel better that I can offer something to you in return.

How do I know she did this? One of her members, Johan, sent me a little over $1 by Alert Pay because it was all he could spare. What an inspiring gift. I'm so touched by all of the generous help and emails of support and prayer. There are so many wonderful people in the world and I'm so glad I set pride aside and reached out.

I'm still sending out emails about my situation. I'm about half way there to be able to pay my rent and one of my late car payments. I've asked God to keep a watch over Minnie & me...and a special prayer for all of you.

Hello, My Friends...

I wanted to let everyone know how touched I am by the support and offers of prayers since I started this blog. I've had help from all over the world.

Being an Internet marketer, many of my Administrator friends have stepped up by sending my blog link out to their lists of members and it certainly is becoming a little viral.

I've got a bit to go as far as the funds raised, but I know God will take care of Minnie & me. He has also shown how He leads people to you when you need help.

Minnie & I Need To Talk To You

I'm not sure who will read this and I never thought I'd be writing something like this. Waking up this morning and realizing it is January 1st made me realize I can't do this by myself any longer.

I don't want to sound like a million other emails or posts you have read, but I just don't know where else to go.

I have been on disability for 2 years and have managed fairly well. My disability benefits were discontinued in November without much notice. Luckily with the partial benefit I received in November and with what little money I had, I was able to pay my December rent. I don't have any money at all for my January rent which will be late by the 5th. I am appealing this sudden decision because I don't want to give up.

Of course, other things had to go unpaid and now I'm 2 months behind on utilities and car payment. I don't drive much any more, but I don't want to lose my car.

I applied for Social Security 2 years ago and am still waiting. I've never understood why I can't get my benefits after I have paid into it for almost 40 years.

My elderly neighbors went to their church and brought me some staple items from their food pantry. In the past, I would have looked upon this as charity. Now, I look at it as a blessing and am grateful to God for it.

If it weren't for my little companion, Minnie, I probably wouldn't want to fight so hard. She keeps me going. I want to save my apartment for her as much as for myself.

So, now I'm asking perfect strangers for help. It pains me to do so, but I remember times I've given to folks like this and thinking, "Well, maybe this isn't a true story". But, I gave anyway because I did it for the right reason and if they were less than honest, that would be between them and God.

So, if you think this is a scam, maybe say a prayer for us and pass this along. If you can find it in your heart to help us, all I can say is "thank you". I will give you my Pay Pal and Alert Pay accounts if you feel inclined to help:
